Grief Loss Memory & Mortality

Among the most formally and conceptually ambitious bodies of work in Dintiman's practice, these series address death, mourning, and transformation through ritual, archetypal, and psychological frameworks — drawing on Tibetan Buddhist concepts of liminal states alongside deeply personal experiences of loss. The work ranges from large-scale mixed-media installations to intimate artist books, consistently refusing sentimentality in favor of material rigor. These series have strong exhibition fit within thematic programming on mortality, memory, the body, and contemporary responses to grief.
